Vertex Inspire team hosts National Enterprise Challenge

In 2019 we worked with the National Enterprise Challenge to help children develop soft skills and take up entrepreneurship. The National Enterprise Challenge has over 70,000 students from across the UK competing with one another in a business challenge. Working closely with CEO Ben Dyer and his passionate team of managers, we visited numerous high schools to run their Enterprise Days.

Enterprise Days entail visiting a school for a full day, and walking hundreds of students through the step-by-step approach outlined by the NEC. students form teams with their peers, perform team-building warm-ups, and navigate the highs and lows of the day through to presentations in front of their school. One finalist is selected to represent the campus in the country finals, held at Wembley stadium with Dragons Den investor and Ryman Stationary CEO, Theo Paphitis.

Inspiring creativity in the arts

Kirstie Elen was a student in London in 2018. To make some additional pocket money she'd take her violin, her speakers, and perform as a busker along iconic walkways throughout the city. At our summit in 2018 she was invited to perform throughout the common areas of the venue, an act that helped to boost her confidence as she continuously stole the show.

Vertex aims to empower individuals just like Kirstie, by challenging people to nurture their talents even outside of business environments. Since our summit, Kirstie has launched a studio album and featured in several international press releases for her passion. Creatives, you are welcome here!
